ADULT SERVICES
Reference Services
Reference services, which are main function of the library, can include research, interlibrary loan, reader's advisory, and general help finding information.
Please see our reference page for a more specific description and contact information.
Book Groups
Book Groups and Discussion information and schedules have been moved here.
Interlibrary Loan
Libraries in our network have already agreed to share their books; we share a computer system, and there is a regular delivery schedule. All of this means that is quick and easy to get books in-network (which is not ILL).
Getting a book from ILL (a library out of network) requires us to send the request to our central site, ask permission from the lending library, and then wait for them to mail it. All of this can take weeks or months.
We are, however, happy to do whatever it takes to get you your book!
If you need a book that isn't in the network, ask a librarian.
Computer Classes
The library offers a limited number of free, 1 hour computer classes at the introductory and intermediate levels. These classes focus on using the internet and finding resources on the web and in the library.
Class size is limited to three, so please register by calling (781) 751-9284 or stopping by the circulation desk.
Dates and times will be posted here when classes are scheduled. There are currently none scheduled.
Though we do not provide individual tutoring, we will certainly try to answer quick questions on an as-needed basis.
