Door-to-Door Library Service
at Endicott Library

The Door-to-Door program was developed for Dedham residents as a partnership between the Dedham Public Library and the Council on Aging. The program’s goal is to make library materials available to members of the community who are unable to venture far from their home.

HOW TO REGISTER

Registration for the program can be done by phone or by mail. Participants can call the Endicott Branch at (781) 751-9178.
Registrants do not need a library card to enroll; one will be issued to them at the time of registration.
The Council on Aging will make registration forms available through their office. Forms can also be picked up at the Main Library at 43 Church Street or the Endicott Branch at 257 Mount Vernon Street.
In addition to basic personal information, the registration form allows patrons to note their favorite authors and subjects. This helps the library staff make recommendations tailored for each participant.

REQUESTING MATERIALS

Once a patron is registered they are able to call the Endicott Branch for library materials. The Endicott Branch is open:

Monday - 10am to 5pm
Tuesday – 10am to 9pm
Wednesday - 10am to 5pm
Thursday - 10am to 9pm
Friday - 10am to 5pm

Library materials will be checked out for a six-week period. If more time is needed, items can be renewed over the phone.
