PERIODICALS
The Dedham Public Library carries many trade and consumer periodicals, along with daily newspapers.
The racks are located on the First Floor in the Main Library, across from the DVDs and Videos, and in the Photocopy Room of the Endicott Branch.
BACK ISSUES
Magazines:
Back issues at the Main Library are kept behind the Current Issue in the folding shelves (space permitting). Endicott keeps a year.
Newspapers:
Back Issues are kept for two months in the Basement Floor of the Main Library. A staff member can retrieve the item(s) for you.
Older editions may be available online through our databases. In some cases, we carry microfilm of newspapers local to The Town of Dedham. Endicott keeps one month of newspapers.
Annuals:
Annual Editions are mostly kept in the REFERENCE (non-circulating) collection.
When annuals are superceded by new editions or updates, they may be re-accesioned
to circulating copies, donated to other libraries, or discarded.
